Salad Dressing Oil & Vinegar (German)/Raspberry vinair

- Mix together:
- 6 oz. Oil
- 3 oz (raspberry) red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp. powdered mustard
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- Dash of paprika

Saute almonds and sesame seeds until lightly golden
- Dressing:
- ½ c. oil
- 6 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 4 Tbsp. Sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- Whisk together until blended.
- Salad:
- ½ c slivered almonds
- 2 Tbsp. Sesame seeds
- 1 pkg (16 oz) prepared coleslaw mix
- ½ c. unsalted sunflower seeds
- 6 finely chopped green onions
- 1 c. chow mein noodles
Rhubarb Upside-down cake

Rhubarb Upside-down Cake (George Weston)
- AThe fruit at the bottom has ben flavoured with candied ginger in accordance with British tradition.
- One Tbsp. of grated fresh ginger or 2 @tsp. of ginger powder may be substituted for the candied ginger.
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- !a few bits of margarine or butter
- cups diced rhubarb, 1/2 " cut
- &1/4 cup candied ginger, finely chopped
- %1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- grated rind of one orange
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp. baking pwoder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Sweet potato fries Shake strips of sweet potato in bag with Paprika Garlic Olive oil Use lots until it is a lovely red in bag. Bake at 400. Takes 10 – 15 min. Turn once.

Zucchini Casserole

Fry bacon and cut in pieces
- lb. hamburger
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup onion
- thin chunks of zucchini (1 medium)
- 2 slices bacon
- mushrooms
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. marjoram
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 cup parmesean cheese
