LEMON BON BONS - MOM

Mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- 1 c. butter
- 1/3 c. icing sugar
- 3/4 c. cornstarch
- 1 1/4 c sifted flour
- 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
SLOW COOKED CHICKEN

Pat chicken dry with paper towels
- 6 bone in chicken breast halves with skin removed
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 tbsp. margarine
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp. chicken bouillion
- 2 tsp. minced fresh parsley
- Hot cooked rice
SHORTBREAD - MELTING

Cream butter and add icing sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 c. cornstarch
- 1 c. icing sugar
- 1 lb. butter
OREO ICE CREAM BARS

Combine cookie pieces and butter
- 20 Oreo cookies, chopped (about 2 cups)
- 3 Tbs. melted butter
- 4 c. butter pecan ice cream, softened (or whatever flavor you want)
- 1/2 c. caramel ice cream topping
- 1 1/2 c. thawed Cool Whip
ORANGE JUICE CAKE

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. grated orange rind
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 unbeaten egg yolks
- 2/3 c. orange juice
- 2 egg whites beaten
SMORES

Butter 13x 9 pan. Spray all utensils and bowls with pam or butter them
- 5 c. miniature marshallows
- 1/3 c. light corn syrup
- 6 tbsp. margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. milk chocolate chips
- 8 c. Golden Grahams Cereal
- 1 c. miniature marshmallows (optional)
RUM BALLS

Mix water, chopped chocolate and sugar together in a saucepan
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 2 c. grahm wafer crumbs
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 3/4 c. raisins
- 1 1/2 tsp. rum (extract)
- Pinch of salf
GINGER COOKIE (ULTIMATE)

Preheat oven to 350 F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. dark brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1/3 c. molasses
- 1 extra large egg
- 1 1/4 c. chopped crystallized ginger ( 6 oz.)
- granulated sugar
POPPYSEED DRESSING

Mix all ingredients. Keeps well in the fridge
- 3 c. mayo
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/4 - 1/2 tsp. tarragon
- 2 tbsp. poppyseeds or to your liking

- 1 c. margine

- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. raisins
