Cranberry and pistachio biscotti
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter - room temp
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel - lemon zest
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (or use salted butter)
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup pistachios, coursely chopped
- 2/3 cups dried cranberries
- 12 oz good quality dark chocolate
- Option: red and green sugar crystals as garnish

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 large egg

1. Spray 8 inch squar (2 qt) pyrex baking dish with cooking spray
- 5 corn tortillas (6 inch round)
- 1 1/2 cups finely shredded colby-monterey jack cheese blend (6 oz)
- 1/2 pound smoked cooked chorizo sausage, coarsely chopped
- 1 can (4.5 oz) Old El Paso chopped green chiles
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 t dried oregano leaf
- 1/8 t ground red pepper (cayenne)

- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/2 t fennel seeds
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 T kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 T tomato paste
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 2 1/2 cups canned plum tomatoes with their juice
- 1 1/2 cups clam juice
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 cup fresh basil
- 1 pound monk fish, on the bone, sliced into 4 steaks
- 12 oz large shrimp, cleaned
- 1 live dungeness crab
