Liquor Slush

In large pan, bring water to a boil
- 7 c water
- 3/4 c sugar
- 6 oz can frozen pineapple juice concentrate
- 12 oz can frozen orange juice
- 12 oz can frozen lemon juice
- 3/4 - 2 c (1.5) clear Rum
- 4 c lemon-lime soda
Punch

Put maraschino cherries and pineapple into ice mold with water and freeze
- 1/2 gal. orange sherbert (chop a little)
- 4 qt gingerale

Apple Cakes

Makes 2 loaves, breakfast or dessert cake
- 3/4 cup oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cup sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 apples, peeled, pared, and diced
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Vegetable Dip

Mix all ingredients and let marinate in refrigerator
- 1 c mayonnaise
- 1 c sour cream
- 3 oz softened cream cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp dill seed
- 1 tbsp minced onion
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp parsley
- Fresh vegetables for dipping
Lasagna

Preheat oven to 350. In sauce pan, lightly brown beef and onion in oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3/4 c chopped onion
- 2 tsp salad or olive oil
- 1 can (1 lb) tomatoes
- 2 cans (6 oz each) tomato paste
- 2 c water
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 pkg lasagna
- 1 lb ricotta cheese
- 8 oz mozzarella
- 1 c parmesan
Chicken Lasagna

- 1/2 c margarine
- 1/3 c flour
- 1 tbsp minced onion
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 2 c chicken broth
- 1 c milk
- 1 c parmesan cheese
- 8 oz lasagna
- 8 oz mozzarella
- 2 c chicken, cooked and cubed
- 6 oz thinly sliced ham
Pizza Dough

Put 2 c flour, yeast, salt, and sugar in bowl and mix together
- 2 pkg yeast
- 2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 c very warm water
- 6-8 c flour

Sauteed Zucchini and Fettuccine

Cook fettuccine according to package directions
- 1 pkg (9 oz) refrigerated fresh egg fettuccine
- 4 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 large zucchini (1 lb total), trimmed and shredded
- 1/2 c pine nuts, toasted
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 oz shaved Parmesan cheese
Pasta with Ricotta and Grape Tomatoes

- 16 oz pkg penne
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 pint grape tomatoes
- 1/4 c chopped fresh basil
- 15 oz light ricotta cheese
