Melt chocolate in oil. Spread over top of middle layer, refrigerate

  • BOTTOM LAYER:
  • 3 squares unsweetened chocolate; melted
  • 2 c firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 c flour
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t baking soda
  • 1 t vanilla
  • Mix all ingredients together ans spread on greased cookie sheet or 9x13 pan. Pop into 350* oven for 25-30 minutes. Done when toothpick comes out clean. Cool
  • MIDDLE LAYER:
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 T Cream
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 t peppermint extract
  • Mix all ingredients together and spread over cooled bottom layer. Refrigerate till firm.
  • TOP LAYER:
  • 1 c semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c milk chocolate chips
  • 3T oil

When a firm curd has formed, cut into 1/2 inch squares and set in a pan of hot water

  • In a large pan, dissolve:
  • 1/4 rennet tablet in 2 quarts warm water.
  • mix in:
  • 3 C non-instant milk powder
  • 1/2 C buttermilk
  • Be sure to completely dissolvethe milk. Allow to stand in warm room until set. (5-10 hours)
