6 cup salad

prepare first 5 ingredients in abundance (3 hours)
- 1 c coconut
- 1 c pineapple (drained)
- 1 c sour cream
- 1 c mini marshmallows
- 1 c mandarin oranges (drained)
- 1 c pears (drained)
Cinnamon Rolls (Rocky)

-Add 2-4 cups more flour to roll dough
- Roll Dough:
- 1 cup powdered milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cube butter (softened)
- 3 T. yeast
- 3 cups warm water
- -mix together
- add 5 cups flour
- -mix
- Frosting:
- 2 pkgs. cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- -add powdered sugar to desired consistency

Carrot Cookies

Bake 375* for 20 minutes. Frost while hot
- 3 c sugar
- 2 1/2 c shortening
- 3 eggs
- 3 t vanilla
- 3 t baking powder
- 2 t salt
- 3 c carrots
- 6 c flour
- 3 c nuts and coconut
- -
- frosting
- Rind of two oranges
- 1 box powdered sugar
- juice of orange to moisten
Oatmeal Cookies

Cream together first set of ingredients
- 1 1/2 c shortening
- 2 c brown sugar firmly packed
- 1 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c water
- 2 t vanilla
- -
- 2 c flour
- 2 t salt
- 1 t soda
- 6 c oats
- -optional-
- raisins
- chocolate chips
- coconut
Corn Chowder

Fry bacon till crisp, set aside
- 1/4 lb bacon
- 1 medium onion diced
- 2 small carrots coarsely grated
- 3 c boiling water
- 1 t salt
- 6 medium potatoes cubed
- 1/4 c margarine
- 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/8 t pepper
- 3 c milk
- 1 can corn
Blueberry or Cherry Angel Treat

Break cake into pieces & put in the bottom of 9x13 pan
- 1 angel food cake
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 12 oz cool whip
- 2 c. powder sugar
- 1 can blueberry or cherry pie filling
Bread sticks

add first three ingredients and stir
- 1 T instant yeast
- 1 1/2 c warm water
- 2 T sugar
- 3-4 c. Flour
- 1/2 t. salt

- 2 eggs
- 2 c sour milk (2 T lemon juice)
- 1 t soda
- 2 c flour
- 2 t baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 6 T shortening
Cafe Rio Pork Barbacoa

Place roast in crock-pot, cover half-way with water and cook on low for 12 hours
- 5-6 lb. pork roast
- 21 oz. Dr. Pepper (or Coke, do NOT use diet soda)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 7 oz. can chipotle chilies in adobo sauce
- 6 -ish oz. red taco sauce (I used hot)
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Taco Seasoning Mix

- 1 t salt
- 1 t chili powder
- 1/2 t cumin
- 1/2 t crushed red pepper
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- 1/2 t corn starch
