In a food processor, process butter, cream cheese, 3 tablespoons sugar, and salt until combined
- 2 sticks cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2/3 cup plus 3 tablespoons sugar, divided
- 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled), plus more for work surface
- 1 cup dried apricots
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten

Vanilla Bean Caramel Sauce

Measure the heavy cream in a 2-cup liquid measuring cup and add the seeds of the vanilla bean; set aside
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise, or 1 tsp pure vanilla extract (in addition to the 1/2 tsp below) if you don’t have a vanilla bean
- 1/4 tsp coarse salt

- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup coconut pecan ready-to-spread frosting

Heat the vegetable oil in a medium pot over medium heat
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 3 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup steak sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons molasses
- 3 tablespoons yellow mustard
