Melt butter in baking pan
- 4 cups Bisquick
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup 7-up
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Oatmeal Cake - Ann Brennan

Pour boiling water over oatmeal
- Topping:
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup quick cooking oatmeal
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 stick butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup coconut, optional
Whipped Butter - Rosemary-Roasted Garlic

Cook garlic in oil until golden
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped (1 T)
- 1/2 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary leaves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 pinch ground white pepper

1) In heavy pan, cook sugar and water until sugar is dissolved
- 4 C. sugar
- 2 C. water
- ½ C. light brown sugar
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 t. maple flavoring
Apple butter

Peel, core and slice enough apples to fill a 4-quart crock pot so full that the lid will not go down over it
- * apple (enough to over fill slow cooker or 4 quart crock pot) (about 8 pounds Granny Smith)
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 * 2 cups white sugar (may need even less)
- 1 * 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 * 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 * 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1. Adjust oven rack to lower-middle position and preheat oven to 400 degrees
- For the Scones:
- 1/3 cup sugar
- zest of two medium oranges
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, frozen
- 1/2 cup Green Valley Organics Lactose Free Sour Cream

- For the Glaze:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter; melted
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar; sifted

Slow-Cooked Asian (Oriental) Chicken

Prep: 20 min. Cook: 5 hours In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the chicken in oil on both sides
- 1 * 1 broiler/fryer chicken (3-1/2 to 4 pounds), cut up (or just use chicken breasts)
- 2 * 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1/3 * 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 * 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 * 2 tablespoons water
- 1 * 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 * 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 * 1/4 cup slivered almonds

- Blend:
- For the Pesto —
- 6 large garlic cloves
- 2 cups basil leaves, packed
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 t. kosher salt
- 1/2 t. crushed red pepper flakes
- For the Pesto Mayonnaise —
- Stir Together:
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 T. Pesto
- For the Onion Relish —
- Combine:
- 1 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 T. olive oil
- 1 T. red wine vinegar
- 1 t. chopped fresh oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the Sandwich —
- Prepare:
- 1 1-lb. loaf of bread, trimmed and sliced as indicated
- 6 oz. provolone, thinly sliced
- 4 oz. coppacola or deli ham, thinly sliced
- 4 oz. salami, thinly sliced
- 1 cup arugula, stemmed
