CRUST: Blend flour and salt in processor
- CRUST:
- 1 cup unbleached all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) chilled unsalted butter, cut into 1/2” cubes
- 2 tablespoons chilled solid vegetable shortening cut into 1/2” cubes
- 2 tablespoons or more ice water

- 3 cups dry bread cubes (1/4" pieces)
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1-1/2 tablespoons milk
- 4 skinned and boned whole chicken breasts
- 1-1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine melted
