- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder, optional (is used for color, not flavor)

- 2 large eggs-room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ginger and nutmeg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups flour

- 1 tbsp flour
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 cup hot beef broth
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 2-3 tsp capers without the juice
