Quaker's Best Oatmeal Cookies

Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, beat margarine and sugars until creamy
- 1-1/4 cups (2-1/2 sticks) margarine or butter, softened
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3 cups Quaker® Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
Bacon and Potato Tart (Puff Pastry)

Dust your work surface lightly with flour and unfold the puff pastry
- All-purpose flour, for dusting
- 1/2 of a 17.3-ounce package puff pastry (1 sheet), thawed
- 5 large eggs
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme leaves
- 2 medium Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced 1/8 inch thick
- 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup finely shredded Parmesan
- 2 tablespoons butter, for topping
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

- For the Spicy Mustard Gruyère Fondue:

- 1 large egg, for egg wash
- 3 slices thinly sliced ham, cut into 3-inch rectangles

- 24 mini hot dogs
- Maldon salt, for garnish

- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 1 red pepper without stem and seeds, julienned
- 4 green onions finely- chopped-- use only the green part

- 3 cups Classic Mac, prepared through step 3 (recipe on page 93)
- 1 large egg yolk, lightly beaten Vi teaspoon paprika
- 5 slices bacon Vi cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Creole mustard
- % teaspoon ground black pepper
- Canola oil, for frying
- % cups cornstarch, divided, plus more
- 1 cup panko (Japanese bread crumbs)for dusting
