Cornbread Dressing, Traditional

Same deal every year. Dressing that everyone loves
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 6 cups cornbread, crumbled (approximately)
- 2-4 cups herb stuffing mix or biscuits crumbled in large pieces
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth (not the condensed variety)or the stoc k from your cook turkey or chicken
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 eggs, boiled (then chopped)
Salad-on-a-Stick

1. Stack lettuce leaves 3 at a time and cut into about 1-inch pieces
- 6 hearts of romaine leaves
- 1 yellow pepper, seeded and cutinto 1-inch pieces
- 1 red pepper, seeded and cut into1-inch pieces
- 1 medium seedless cucumber, cut into 1-inch chunks
- 24 cherry or grape tomatoes
- 2/3 cup Italian dressing
- 3 tablespoons chopped flat leaf parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Cole Slaw Salad, Chinese

Whisk up dressing together and refrigerate
- 1 pkg coleslaw mix with carrots
- 3 green onions diced
- 1 pkg ramen noodles oriental flavor
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds toasted
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted
- Dressing
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- flavor packet from oriental soup
- 1/4 tsp dark sesame oil
- salt and pepper to taste

- 1 1/2 cups (more if needed ) *dry instant potatoe flakes
