Baked Beans (Best Southern Living 2012)

Grandma Gwen's, Southern Living, JUNE 2012 (This would be great in slow cooker)
- 1 (1-lb.) package bacon slices
- 4 medium-size yellow onions, sliced (Halved slices better)
- 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 (16-oz.) cans butter beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15-oz.) can lima beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (16-oz.) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (28-oz.) can baked beans
Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
- 1 cup salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- Olive Oil, for tossing
- 5 sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch long slices, then 1/4-wide inch strips
- 1 tablespoon Salt Seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika

- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 cup milk

Potato, Cheesy Potato Casserole

- 1 pint (2 cups) sour cream
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 bag (30 oz) frozen country-style shredded hash brown potatoes, partially thawed
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
Coconut Pie, Crustless

- Lightly grease two shallow 9″ pie plates. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- 4 eggs
- 1 & 3/4 cups sugar
- In a two cup glass measuring cup: add the juice of one large fresh lemon + enough milk added to it to make 2 cups milk

Kicked Up Brie Cups

- 1/2 teaspoon each Brie cheese and pepper jelly (o r jalapeno jelly)
