Beef, Slow Cooker Beef and Mushrooms

1.Season the meat with salt and pepper, layer it into the slow cooker
- 2 (2 1/2 pounds) boneless round steak, cut into 6 serving-size pieces

- 2 cans mushroom pieces (do not drain)
- 1 package brown gravy mix
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup water
