- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- FROSTING:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 4 cups confectioners' sugar
- 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
