Smokey Maple Barbecue Sauce

In saucepan, heat oil over medium heat; cook onion and garlic for 2 to 3 minutes or until softened
- 3 T vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, minced
- 2 large cloves garlic, minced
- 1 T dry mustard
- 1 T packed brown sugar
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp each celery seeds, dried tarragon and cinnamon
- 3/4 C chili sauce
- 1/2 C pure maple syrup
- 1/3 C orange juice
- 1/4 C cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp liquid smake
- 1/4 tsp salt
Sun-Dried Tomato Flat Bread

In a bowl dissolve the yeast in the water
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
- 3/4 C warm water
- 5 T olive oil
- 1/4 C chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 T minced garlic
- 1/2 C chopped sun-dried tomatoes, drained
- 2 1/4 C plus 1 handful flour
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
Bacardi Strawberry Mousse

Soften gelatin in 1/2 cup water
- 300 milliliters frozen strawberries, thawed
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup Bacardi white rum
- 2 packages unflavored gelatin
- 2 1/2 cups whipping cream, divided
- 1/2 cup water
Sherried Chicken

Melt butter in frying pan
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 pounds chicken pieces
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon granules
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup sherry
- 1/4 teaspoon ground rosemary
Herb Beer Bread

Measure first 8 ingredients into large bowl
- 3 C flour
- 3/4 C whole wheat flour
- 1/2 C grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 C wheat germ
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 T sugar
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 can of beer at room temperature
- 3 T melted butter
Jambuster Muffins

Measure first 6 ingredients
- 2 C flour
- 1 C oats
- 1/2 C brown sugar
- 1 T baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 C milk
- 1/4 C cooking oil
- 1/2 C seedless raspberry jam
Beef Beer Stew

Mix together flour, salt and pepper
- 2 pounds stewing beef
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 pounds onion, thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 bottle beer
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon steak sauce
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 3 pounds potato, peeled and quartered

Baked Fudge Pudding

Cream together margarine and sugar until fluffy
- TOPPING:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salsify
- 1 cup boiling water
Spiced Chicken and Apricot Couscous

Heat oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, or vegetable oil
- 1 pound skinless boneless chicken breast halves, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup dried apricots, cut up
- 1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 can (14 1/2 oz) chicken broth
- 3/4 cup uncooked couscous
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
Herb Garden Ciabatta

Stir together 2 cups of flour and the yeast in a large mixing bowl; set aside
- 4 to 4 1/2 cups flour
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1 C reduced-fat milk
- 3 T sugar
- 2 T olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 4 oz (about 1 cup) shredded Asiago cheese
- 2 T snipped fresh rosemary
- 1 egg white, beaten
