Sugar Crust

Combine the flour, sugar, butter, and salt in a food processor
- 2 C unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 C confectioners' sugar
- 12 T cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
Garlic Onion Bites

Combine first five ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup purple onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped, or 1 T dried
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- salt and pepper
- 4 8" flour tortilla
- olive oil
Pork Loin with Marsala Wine

Rub pork with rosemaryand garlic
- 1 , 2 1/2 - 3 lb boneless pork-loin roast
- leaves from 3 sprigs fresh rosemary or 1 T dried rosemary
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 3 T butter
- 2 T olive oil
- salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1 C dry white wine
- 1/2 Cdry Marsala winne or sherry
- 1/3 C whipping cream
Chicken Fried Rice

In large sauce, bring 2 2/3 cups water to boil, stir in rice
- 1 1/3 cups long-grain rice
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1 tablespoon sesame or vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce or ketchup
- dash hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 cup frozen green peas
BBQ Chicken Sandwich

In bowll, mix juice, oil, mustard,pepper, garlic, basil, oregano and thyme
- Garlic Pesto Mayo:
- 1/4 C lemon juice
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 T Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- pinch each dried basil, oregano and thyme
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 Portuguese buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1 large plum tomato, sliced
- 4 thin slices red onion
- 1/2 C light Mayo
- 1 T prepared pesto
- 1 clove garlic, minced

- 5 T unsweetened cocoa powder, divided
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 C light cream
- 1 T vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 C packed dark brown sugar
- 1 3/4 C hot water
- Whipped cream (optional)
Blueberry Bars

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Glaze:
- 1 C butter, softened
- 1 3/4 C sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 C flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 21oz can blueberry pie filling
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 1/4 C icing sugar
- 2 T lemon juice
- 1 T butter, melted
Grand Marnier Cosmopolitan

Combine in shaker, add ice, shake and strain into a chilled martini glass
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1 ounce grand marnier
- 1 ounce cranberry juice
- 1/4 ounce lime juice

Combine all ingredients, except olive oil, and form into 1 1/2" balls
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 small yellow onion, minced
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 3 tablespoons grated romano cheese
- 3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 3 tablespoons minced fresh basil
- salt and pepper, to taste
