Maple Popcorn

Heat oven to 250. Pop popcorn
- 1/2 C maple syrup
- 1 C butter
- 2 C packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 C unpopped popcorn
Carrot Apricot Cake

In small saucepan, bring apricots and 1/2 cut water to boil; reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes
- 1/2 cup dried apricots
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 cups grated carrots
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 egg whites
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Indoesian Pork

Place a metal rack or trivet in ottom of a slow cooker
- 1 , 4 to 5 lb pork roast
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 C honey
- 1/4 C soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp dried red pepper flakes
- 1/4 C fresh lemon juice
- 1 T chopped crystallized ginger
- 3/4 C crunchy peanut butter
Onion Bread

Place in bread machine in order given
- 3/4 C water
- 1 1/2 T oil or butter
- 1 1/2 T honey
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 C dried minced onion
- 2 1/4 C bread flour
- 3/4 C whole wheat flour
- 2 T powdered milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 tsp yeast
Parmesan Bacon Loaf

Place in bread machine in order given
- 1 C milk
- several dashes hot pepper sauce
- 1 egg
- 3 C flour
- 1/3 C parmesan cheese
- 2 T cooked bacon pieces
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp yeast
Ravioli Vegetable "Lasagna"

Put on pot of water. Drain spinach and wring
- 24 oz chopped frozen spinach, defrosted
- 2 T olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans (15 oz each) quartered artichokes in water, drained
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 T butter
- 2 T flour
- 2 C vegetable stock
- 1/2 C cream
- 1/2 C grated Parmigiano
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- salt and pepper
- 28 oz fresh ravioli
- 1 lb thin asparagus spears, cut on an angle into 2" pieces
- 2 C shredded provolone or italian 4 cheese blend
Raspberry Tenderloin

Preheat bBQ to medium-high
- 1 lb pork tenderloin
- 1 tsp whole black peppercorns, cracked in plastic bag with mallet
- reserved raspberry syrup
- 1 T apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp hoisin sauce
- 1 T liquid honey
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 15 oz frozen raspberries in syrup drained and syrup reserved
Beef Tenderloin Turnovers

In a medium bowl, combine beef, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and cayenne; toss to coat meat with spices
- 6 ounces beef tenderloin, or sirloin, cut into 1/4" pieces
- .5 teaspoon chili powder
- .5 teaspoon ground cumin
- .25 teaspoon salt
- .25 teaspoon ground black pepper
- .1625 teaspoon cayenne, or to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- .25 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 sheet frozen puffed pastry, thawed
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- .75 cup Monterey jack cheese, shredded
Carrot Loaf

In mixing bowl beat cooking oil, eggs and sugar together until blended
- 1/2 C cooking oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 C sugar
- 1 C finely grated carrots
- 1 3/4 C clour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/2 C chopped walnuts
Fresh Strawberry Margaritas

Reserve 4 strawberries for garnish and split them, keeping their stems intack
- 2 pints ripe strawberries
- juice of 4 limes
- 8 rounded tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 C orange juice
- 8 shots tequila
- 2 trays of ice cubes
- coarse salt to rim glasses
- 1 lime cut in wedges for garnish
