Buttermilk Dill Chicken

Combine marinate ingredients in a plastic zipper bad
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper
- 4 chicken breasts

Beat butter on medium to hight for 30 seconds
- 1 C butter
- 3/4 C sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 C flour
- 1 slightly beaten egg white

Braised Beef

- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 1 green pepper, coarsely chopped

Dilled Carrots

In bottom of hot sterilized pint jar, place head of dill and garlic
- 1 head of dill, per pint
- 1 small garlic clove, per pint
- small whole carrots, or larger ones cut in fingers, to fill 1 pint
- 1 T coarse (pickling) salt, per pint
- 1/3 C boiling white vinegar, per pint
- boiling water, to fill jar
Chocolate Monkey Bread

In large bowl, dissolve 1 tsp of the sugar in warm water
- CHOCOLATE TOPPING:
- 1/3 C granulated sugar
- 1/4 C warm water
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 3/4 C milk
- 1/4 C butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 4 1/2 C all-purpose flour (approx)
- 1 C mini chocolate chips
- 3 T butter, melted
- 1/2 C sugar
- 2 T cocoa powder
- ICING:
- 1/2 C icing sugar
- 1 T water
Asian-Style Vegetables

Combine broccoli, cauliflower, red pepper and boiling water in large saucepan
- 2 C chopped fresh broccoli
- 2 C chopped fresh cauliflower
- 1 small red pepper, chopped
- 1 C boiling water
- 1 T butter
- 2 T soy sauce
- 2 tsp brown sugar, packed
- 1-2 tsp freshly grated gingerroot
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 1/2 tsp sesame seeds, toasted
Best Cheese Ball

Measure first 7 ingredients into bowl
- 2 250-gram packages cream cheese, at room temperature
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion flakes
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- pecans, finely chopped
Dark Chocolate Cake

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9 x 13 baking pan
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup strong coffee
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa, sifted
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Barbecued Green Beans

Brown bacon in skillet until crisp and then break into pieces
- 1 lb bacon
- 1/4 C chopped onions
- 3/4 C ketchup
- 1/2 C brown sugar
- 3 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 4 C green beans
Buttermilk Herbed Chicken

In bowl or zip lock bag, marinate chicken in butter in fridge at least 4 hours or up to 24 hours
- 8 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 1/2 cups fresh bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground sage
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
