Dark Chocolate Pecan Balls

On baking sheet, toast pecans in 350 oven for 5 to 8 minutes or until fragrant
- 3/4 C pecans
- 8 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 C butter
- 1/4 C icing sugar
- 2 T brandy
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 C cocoa powder
Cheese and Garlic Pita Wedges

Split each pita bread round i half, horizontally, then cut each half into four wedges
- 4 pita bread rounds
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
- 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Orange Julius

Combine in blender. Blend until smooth
- 1/3 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup sugar

Basic Pizza Sauce

Heat oil in saucepan. Add onion and garlic
- 2 tsp cooking oil
- 1 1/2 C finely chopped onion
- 1-2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 x19 oz cannedtomatoes, with juice, broken up
- 1/3 C finley chopped celery
- 2 T ketchup
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/4 tsp ground allspice
- 1 tsp dried sweet basil
- 1 tsp dried whole oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper

Cajun Chicken with Capers and Lemon

- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 4 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3/4 cup canned chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons drained capers
Easy Overnight Buns

Put first 5 ingredients in large bowl
- 2 C flour
- 1/2 C butter, softened
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 C cold water
- 1/2 tsp salt

Bordelaise Sauce

- 3 T olive oil
- 4 T butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/9 tsp fresh pepper
- 1 T chopped garlic

- 1/4 C dry red wine

Preheat oven to 350. Melt butter in a large saute pan over medium heat
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup BC white wine
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 large bunch of baby spinach
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 3 cups grated mozzarella
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1/3 cup half and half
- salt and pepper, to taste

- 1 stick unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup cake flour
- 2 tablespoons dry powdered milk
- 1 tablespoon corn syrup
- juice of 1/2 small lemon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
