- 1 1 1 tablespoon Calvados
- 1 1 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 1 2 cup (5 ounces) plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1 1 cup (7 ounces) plus 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 2 2 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1 2 large egg plus 2 large yolks
- 1 1 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1 1 cup whole milk
- 1 1 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Confectioners' sugar
APPLE CAKE

- Mix together
- 4 cups peeled diced apples
- 2 cups white sugar
- Add to above mixture
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs beaten
- Sift and add to above
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt

Burgundy Mushrooms

Thoroughly wash the mushrooms and throw them into a large stockpot
- 4 pounds white button mushrooms
- 1 litre Burgundy wine (other dry red wines will work)
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1/2 pound (2 sticks) butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dill seed
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 4 beef bouillon cubes
- 4 chicken bouillon cubes
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled
- Salt
- Crusty bread, for serving
RAW RELISH

In the morning Drain well Mix 3 cups vinegar, 3 cups sugar and ½ cup mustard seed
- Grind:
- 2 qts. Green tomatoes
- 4 medium size onions
- 4 cups celery
- Sprinkle ½ cup salt over and let stand over night.

Put above ingredients in crock-pot and cook for 4 to 6 hours
- 1 lb. hamburger, browned
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. mustard
