Nordstrom Chocolate Mousse Cake

Melt chocolate in double boiler and set aside
- Crust:
- 1 lb. Bittersweet Chocolate
- 1 Qt Heavy Cream
- 6 eggs 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (Oreo, with centers removed)
- 6 tbsp. (3/4 stick) melted butter
Potatoes with Chef's Cheese Sauce

Have first four ingredients at room temperature
- 4 tbsp. butter, softened
- 4 oz. sharp process American cheese, shredded (1 cup)
- 1/2 cup dairy sour cream
- 1 tbsp. sliced green onion
- 5 or 6 medium baking potatoes
Creamed Dried Beef

Cook dried beef in butter till edges frizzle
- 4 oz. dried beef*
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
- *If dried beef is extra salty, let stand a few minutes in boiling water. Drain on paper towels before cooking in the butter.
French Dressing

Add all of the dressing ingredients into a blender
- 3 tbsp. white wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup olive oil, eyeball it
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
- Salt and white pepper
Frozen Dutch Apple Pie

Crust: Mix all ingredients
- Pie:
- 9 in. graham Cracker crust
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 4 lg. apples (jonathan or golden delicious)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup apple cider
- 1/4 cup chopped black walnuts
- 2 tbsp. orange juice
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. ginger
- dash salt
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/3 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup whipping cream
Russian Cutlets

Moisten bread slices with water, squeeze dry
- MUSHROOMS IN SOUR CREAM SAUCE:
- 4-6 slices white bread
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 onion, grated
- 1 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 cup or more fresh bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, thinly slice
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp. flour
- 1 tsp. powdered mushrooms, optional
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Frozen Chocolate Mousse

Put the milk in a heavy-bottomed pan, sprinkle the gelatin over it, and let soften for 5 minutes
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1 envelope gelatin
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups heavy cream, plus additional for garnish
Tomato Basil Fettuccine

Cook fettuccine according to package directions
- 8 oz. uncooked fettuccine
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Rump Roast and Vegetables

1 Place potatoes, carrots, and onion in slow cooker
- 1 1/2 lbs. small potatoes ( about 10 ), or medium potatoes (about 4 ), halved
- 2 medium carrots, cubed
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 10 oz. pkg. frozen lima beans
- 2 tbsp. quick-cooking tapioca
- 2-2 1/2 lb. boneless beef round rump, round tip, or pot roast
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 10 3/4 oz. can condensed vegetable beef soup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Chicken Fajita Tacos

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/4 inch thick slices
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 (1 oz. ) package taco seasoning mix
- Taco size flour tortillas
- Guacamole, sour cream, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese
- Garnish: chopped fresh cilantro
