1. Combine broth, fish sauce, sugar and chili garlic sauce in a small bowl
- !/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp. fish sauce
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. chili-garlic sauce
- 2 tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 tsp. garlic, minced
- 2 fresh jalapeno chilies, sliced
- 3/4 lb. boneless pork, thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup fresh Thai basil, lightly packed
- 3 green onions, cut into 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tbs. cold water
Oriental Marinade

- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. sugar

- 5 lbs. bone-in beef short ribs, about 1 inch thick, trimmed of excess fat.
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups dry red wine
- 4 cups low-sodium beef broth

- 6 chicken breast halves, boned and skinned
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp. whole grain mustard
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
