Lady's Brownies

Preheat oven 325 degrees. Blend together sugar, oil, eggs, cocoa, and vanilla
- Cream Cheese Brownies:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 6 tbsp. cocoa
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 8 tbsp. (1 stick) butter, softened
- one 8 oz. package cream, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1 cup walnuts or pecans
Chili's Grilled Baby Back Ribs

SAUCE: Combine all ingredients except ribs over medium heat
- 4 racks baby back ribs
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 2/3 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. yellow mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. liquid smoke hickory flavor
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
Sliced Onions and Potatoes in Foil

Combine onions, potatoes, celery salt, pepper and melted butter in large bowl
- 2 cups sliced onions (2 large)
- 4 large potatoes, pared and cut in 1/4 inch thick slices
- 1 tbsp. celery salt
- Dash of pepper
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Bean Soup

Wash both beans. Cover with water (2 inches over) bring to boil
- 1 lb. Great Northern beans
- 1/4 lb. lima beans
- 1 ham hock
- 1 beef knuckle bone
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 stalks celery, whole
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup celery, chopped
- 1 tbsp. pickapeppa sauce
- Green onions to garnish
Oatmeal Lace Cookies

1. Heat oven to 325 degrees
- 1 1/2 (3 sticks) unsalted butter
- 3 cups uncooked rolled oats (do no use instant)
- 1 1/2 tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 lg. eggs, lightly beaten
Chicken-Fried Pork Chops

Combine beaten egg and milk
- 6 Pork chops, 1/2 inch
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 tbsp. milk
- 2/3 cup cracker crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Noodle Casserole

Melt the butter in a large skillet
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
- One 8 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained, or 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely sliced blanched almonds
- 1 clove garlic, minced, or 1/4 tsp. garlic puree
- 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- One 10 3/4 can French onion soup
- 2 cups fine-cut noodles, uncooked
Pepper Cream Dressing

Combine all ingredients; mix well
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper or cracked black pepper
- 1/8 tsp hot pepper sauce
Chocolate Caramel Parfait

1. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions; crumble brownies, and set aside
- 1 (15.9 oz.) package chocolate chuck brownie mix
- 1 (3.8 oz.) box devils food instant pudding mix
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Caramel flavored ice cream topping
- Frozen nondairy whipped topping, thawed
- Honey roasted peanuts

- Hot or mild Italian sausage, 3 lbs. cut into serving pieces
- Peperonata
- 1 lb. green peppers ( about 3 medium), sliced
- 1 lb. red peppers (about 3 medium) sliced
- 1 lb. red onions ( about 3 medium ) sliced
- 2 large cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive or cooking oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- Salt and Pepper
