Citrus-Chicken Salad Pita

COMBINE chicken, oranges and nuts in large bowl
- 2 cups cooked chicken strips
- 1 can (10 fl oz/284 mL) mandarin oranges, drained 1/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted
- 1/2 cup Kraft Mayo Calorie-Wise Mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 4 whole wheat pita breads, cut in half
- 8 lettuce leaves
Mile High Shredded Beef

Place the roast in a dutch oven; add broth, onion and celery
- 1 boneless beef chuck roast (3 lbs.)
- 1 can (14 1/2 oz.) beef broth
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 celery rib, chopptsped
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. white vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. ground mustard
- 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 garlci clove, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 14 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 3 drops hot pepper sauce
- 12 to 15 hoagie buns
Chinese Fried Rice

Heat oil in a large heavy skillet
- 1/4 cup salad oil
- 1 bunch scallions, chopped
- 3 cups minute rice
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1-4 oz. can mushrooms
- 1-5oz. can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1-16 oz package frozen peas
- 4 eggs, scrambled
Oven Stew

Place all ingredients in roaster and enough water to cover
- 1 1/2 to 2 lbs stew meat
- 1 large bag frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 pkg. lipton onion soup mix
- 2/3 cup barley
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup prepared bread crumbs
- 1 1/2 About 1 1/2 tbsp. salt

- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup strawberry preserves
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon

Chocolate Walnut Wafers

Preheat the oven to 350 and grease some cookie sheets well
- Take care not to overbake this chewy, brownielike cookie.
