Caramel Corn (Gimme some oven)

Method Preheat oven to 300 degrees F
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup light or dark corn syrup
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 12 cups popped popcorn (about 1 cup kernels before popped), preferably warm from being freshly popped

Directions In large bowl, beat the butter, oil and sugars
- Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar

- 1 serving (2 each) equals 233 calories, 14 g fat (5 g saturated fat), 31 mg cholesterol, 108 mg sodium, 25 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 2 g protein.
- Directions
- In large bowl, beat the butter, oil and sugars. Beat in eggs until well blended. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; gradually add to creamed mixture.
- Drop by small teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool. Yield: about 5 dozen.

- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 lb boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
- 2 cups water
- 1 package (3 oz) Oriental-flavor ramen noodle soup mix
- 1 pkg (1 lb) fresh stir-fry vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, celery, carrots, snow pea pods and bell peppers) (4 cups)
- 1/4 cup stir-fry sauce
