1. In a large nonstick skillet toast cake slices over medium-high heat for 3 to 5 minutes, turning to brown evenly
- 1/2 small 7-inch angle food cake, but in 8 wedges (about 4 oz. total)

- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 can chopped ripe olives (4-1/4 oz. )
- 4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1-1/2 tsp. minced fresh parsley or 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes

Cottage Cheese & Pineapple Salad

Dissolve jello & salt in hot water - Add pineapple and let chill until thick

- 1 cup caned milk
- 1 pkg. lemon jello
- 1 small pkg. cottage cheese

- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 No.1 can crushed pineapple
Sweet Baked Apples

1. Heat oven to 400*F. Remove and discard the cores from the apples
- 8 baking apples (such as Cortland, Empire, Gala, Braeburn, or Pippin)
- 1/2 cup chopped candied or plain nuts
- 1/3 cup light or dark brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

Step 1. In medium-size bowl, stir together the flour and salt
- For the crust:
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 egg
- Milk (about 2/3 cup)
