- 2 Tbsp plus 1 1/2 tsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, coarsely chopped
- 2 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp chopped thyme, plus more for garnish
- 1/2 tsp coarse salt
- 1 (28 oz) can whole peeled plum tomatoes with juice
- 2 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste (preferably no-salt added)
- 1 1/2 cups cooked quinoa (from about 1/2 cup uncooked)
- 4 large eggs
- Hot sauce, for drizzling

- 1 C peanut butter
- 1/2 C honey
- 1/4 C brown rice syrup, or more honey
- 2 1/2-3 C cereal, I used a brown rice cereal from Good Earth that is like rice krispies
- 1 C puffed millet cereal, also found at the health food store, again any puffed grain cereal would do, or you could do 1/2 C of oats
- 2 T chia seeds, or flax, or both
Wild Rice Cashew Salad

1 In a strainer, rinse the wild rice under cold water, drain well
- Dressing:
- 1 cup wild rice
- 4 cups No-Chicken broth (vegetarian)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups red bell peppers, chopped
- 3/4 cup cashews, coarsely chopped
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 3 tablespoons seasoned rice vinegar or 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash fresh ground pepper

Cut-Out Sugar Cookies

Mix all ingredients together and roll out on a floured surface
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/2 c shortening
- 1 c sugar
- 3/4 teas vanilla extract
- 3/4 teas almond extract
- 3 eggs
- 1 teas salt
- 3 1/2 flour
- 1 teas soda
- 2 teas cream of tartar
SRIRACHA MAPLE OYSTER CRACKERS

Melt the oil and butter in a large skillet
- 1/2 c. Canola Oil
- 1/2 c. Butter - unsalted
- 2-3 T Sriracha - or more if you like things hot
- 4 T. Maple Syrup - the real stuff:-)
- 1 T Honey
- 1 T Lowry's Seasoning Salt
- 1 Bag Oyster Crackers

- 6 drops hot sauce
- 3/4 tsp. salt

- 1 qt. sliced dill pickles
- Dried dill for seasoning
- Vegetable oil for deep frying

- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 c pecans
