Recipe: Slow Cooker Chicken Tikka Masala

- 1 to 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece whole ginger, peeled and grated
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 to 2 tablespoons garam masala
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 3/4 cup heavy cream or coconut milk
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 cups cooked rice, to serve

- 1 (8-ounce) package elbow macaroni, cooked
- 2 cups cream-style cottage cheese
- 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 (8-ounce) carton sour cream
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 3/4 teaspoon salt

- 1 1 to 450°F. 10-inch to 450°F. Place pie crust in 10-inch tart pan with removable bottom as directed on box for One-Crust Filled Pie. Press in bottom and up side of pan. Trim edge if necessary. DO NOT PRICK CRUST.
- 3 3 3 In medium bowl, beat cream cheese with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Add whipped topping and butterscotch pudding mix; beat until smooth and creamy. Spread over filling.

- 2 cups melted butter
- 1 cup Dirty Steve's Original Wing Sauce, recipe follows, or hot sauce, such as Frank's
- 4 heaping tablespoons fresh minced garlic
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 4 packets powdered ranch dressing
- 8 cups red hot sauce, such as Frank's
- 2 cups melted butter
- 1/2 cup mango habanero sauce
- 8 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons chili powder
- 4 teaspoons garlic powder
- 4 teaspoons onion powder
- 4 teaspoons black pepper
- 4 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 4 teaspoons seasoning salt

Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Cranberry Brown Butter

Preheat the oven to 400°
- 4 pounds brussels sprouts, halved lengthwise
- 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 pound fresh or thawed frozen cranberries
- 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon finely grated fresh ginger
- 1 1/2 teaspoons finely grated orange zest
- 2 sticks (1/2 pound) unsalted butter
- 1 large shallot, minced
- 1 teaspoon chopped thyme
Orange Peel Shrimp

- 2 lbs raw shrimp, deveined with tails on or off
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 scallions, finely chopped
- 2 oranges, zested and juiced
- 6 tbsp orange marmalade
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 4 Thai chili peppers (optional but recommended)
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 4 tbsp canola oil, divided
- 1 cup brown rice, cooked and fluffed with a fork

- 2 large yellow onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 stalks celery
- 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 12 oz. cauliflower florets (I cheat and buy the prebroken florets at Trader Joe’s)
- 6 c. chicken broth
