Nutella Pinwheels

Whisk the flour and salt together in a small bowl
- 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large egg yolks
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Nutella, divided
Apple Squares with Maple Glaze

Preheat oven to 350. Coat a 15x10 jelly roll pan with spray oil and set aside
- Cake
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil (you can substitute any oil, like coconut)
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour (whole wheat pastry flour would substitute well)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 3 cups chopped unpeeled apples (Braeburn, Gala, or similar)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Maple Glaze
- 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp butter, softened
- 2-3 tablespoons whole milk
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup (can use maple extract also)
Teriyaki Burgers with Mango Pineapple Salsa

To make the salsa, combine all the ingredients in a medium bowl
- For the salsa:
- 1 mango, diced
- 1-1 ½ cups diced fresh pineapple
- ½ of one red bell pepper, diced small
- ¼ cup red onion, finely diced
- 1 tbsp. minced fresh cilantro
- Juice of one lime
- Pinch of coarse salt
- For the sauce: (I halved it and had plenty for 4 burgers)
- 1 cup fresh chopped pineapple
- ½ cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1 inch knob of ginger, peeled and minced fine
- 3 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp. vinegar (apple cider or rice vinegar)
- ½ tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tbsp. cold water
- For the burgers:
- 1 lb. ground sirloin
- 2 tbsp. finely chopped yellow onion
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. freshly ground pepper
- 1 or 2 dashes of Worcestershire sauce

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Farenheit
- 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 TBSP baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 egg, at room temperature
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
- 1/2 c. fresh, frozen blueberries
- 1/2 c. fresh, frozen raspberries
Blackberry and Cream Cheese Muffins

Preheat oven to 375F. Line a muffin pan with 12 paper liners
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup butter, room temperature
- 2-oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup milk
- 12-oz (approx 2 cups) fresh blackberries

- 3 cups minus 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tsp baking soda

- Heavy pinch of salt
