- White batter:
- 1-1/2 plus 3 tblsp cake flour
- 2 tsp bkg powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla
- Black batter: will need only half
- 2/3 cup cocoa
- 1/3 cup boiling water
- 1-1/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup cake flour
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 tblsp vanilla
- Frostings:
- 2-1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 9 tblsp butter
- 1 tblsp vanilla
- 1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa
Whiskey nut cake

Moms fruit cake. The best
- Simple syrup for glaze:
- 2 cups butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 eggs, room temp
- 1 cup good whiskey
- 1 qt. chopped pecans
- 4 cups cake flour
- 1 tsp bkg. powder
- 1 lb chopped dates
- 1/2 box chopped raisins
- 1/2 lb chopped cherries
- 1/2 lb chopped pineapple
- Equal parts sugar and water, 1 cup each
Eagle Brand Pumpkin Pie

Mix together and pour into a pie shell
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 15 oz can pumpkin
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ea clove, nutmeg, ginger, salt

- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 3 tablespoons tapioca
- Pinch salt
- 1 1/3 cups reserved juice

- 2 bottles cream stout

Chocolate Pistachio Pound Loaf

- Pistachio Batter:
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, room temperature.
- 1 cup sugar

- 1 tsp cinnamon
