- 3 qts water
- 1 lb meat, cut into cubes
- 1 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1-2 tblsp beef boulion
- 1 tblsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3/4 lb beets 2 cups
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cups shredded carrots
- 1/2 minced onion
- 1 tblsp caraway
- 1 tblsp dill seed
- 1/8 tsp garlic
- 1-2 tblsp lemon juice

- 1 cup (2 quarter-pound sticks, 8 ounces) unsalted butter, cut into pats

- 2 tablespoons (1 ounce) milk
- Cinnamon Filling
- 1/2 cup (3 3/4 ounces) brown sugar

- 1 cup butter
- 2 tblsp frozen OJ concentrate
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp orange extract, or vanilla
- 2 cups AP flour
- 1 pkg. pistachio pudding mix
- 1 tsp bkg. powder
- 1-1 -2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped pistachio
- 2 tblsp cake enhancer, opt.
- 1 cup buttermilk or sour cream, or a mixture of both

- 2 cups conf sugar

Sift dry ingredients. Cream sugars ,add eggs,add vanilla, combine with dry ingredients except the almonds
- Glaze:
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp bkg soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 pkg toffee bits
- 1 cup coarse ground almonds
- 4 oz milk chocolate
- 1-2 tsp oil
Roasted Red Pepper and Avocado Soup with Sausages

1. Place a saucepan over medium heat, add in your fat, garlic and onion
- 3-4 roasted red peppers, roughly chopped (I used jarred in water kind. but you could roast your own)
- 1 avocado, pitted
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup canned coconut milk
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2-3 tablespoons fat of choice (I used bacon fat)
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 avocado, diced (to garnish)
- chopped cilantro (to garnish)
- 4-5 cooked sausage of choice (suggest sun-dried tomato chicken sausage)

- 1 tblsp lemon juice
- 2 tblsp butter
