French Lemon Truffles

- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 lb. white chocolate, or white candy coating
- 2 tsp grated lemon zest
- Chocolate for dipping or molding
Chinese ramen noodle salad

Great for a summer Barbeque
- Sauce:
- 2 pkg ramen noodles
- 1 pkg coleslaw mix
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup slivered almond, or other nuts
- 2 tblsp sesame seeds
- 1 small can pineapple tidbits or mandarins oranges
- 1/2 cup julienned red bell
- 1/4 cup finely sliced celery
- 1/2 cup vegetabe oil
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/3 cup sugar, or honey
- 6 tblsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Tomato Soup

This is a Vissotzky family favorite
- 1 lb beef short ribs
- 1 lg can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup each chopped onion, celery, and carrots
- 1 heaping tsp each chicken base and beef base
- 2 tblsp flour
- Salt and pepper
Honey-Glazed Curry Chicken

Lightly brown the chicken in butter and place in baking dish
- 1 lb Chicken breasts or chicken tenders
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup butter (half for frying chicken half for glaze)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 Tbs soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp curry powder

- 3 cups cooked sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs 4 egg whites
- 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt.

- 2 tblsp flour
- 1/3 cup flour. 3 tblsp flour
- 1 cup brown sugar. 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butter. 2 tblsp butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans. 1/2 cup pecans

- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/3 cup karo
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Peanut Butter Krispie Treats

Grease an oblong pan In a large saucepan over low heat stir together sugars and butter, then bring it to a boil
- 1 cup karo
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 6 cups rice krispies
Apple relish

Johns hunting buddy brings this relish to elk camp and they all love it
- 20 large green tomatoes
- 2 green and 1 red bell pepper
- 3 cups vinegar
- 3 tblsp salt 1 tsp ea pepper, mustard seed, celery seed, cloves, cinnamon, and turmeric
- 8 big onions
- 8 big red apples
- 5 cups sugar
- 2-4 hot peppers

- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 can milk

Bobby Flays Blondies

Butter a 9-9" pan Preheat oven to 350*
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp bkg powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup light brown muskavado sugar
- 1/2 cup dark brown muskavado sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tblsp toffee chips
- 1/2 cup chopped toasted almonds
