Corn Pudding

Fry bacon until crisp. Remve bacon
- 2 pieces bacon
- 1 TBSP. butter
- 1 sweet onion, diced
- 2-3 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen yellow corn, thawed
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. sugar or more
- salt and pepper to taste
Paula Deen's Lime Sherbet Punch

Can use orange or pineapple juice instead
- 2 quarts lime sherbet (put in punch bowl)
- Add 2 liters of ginger ale
- Add 1(46 oz.) can pineapple juice
- 2 lemons, 2 limes, add a few maraschino cherries.
Spicy Horseradish Sauce

Stir together all ingredients in a small bowl
- 2/3 c. reduced-fat sour cream
- 3 TBSP. prepared horseradish
- 2 TBSP. light mayo
- 1 TBSP. white wine vinegar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Preheat broiler in oven. Grease a broiling pan or line a pan with aluminum foil
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 TBSP. butter, softened
- 1 TBSP.& 1 1/2 tsp. mayo
- 1 TBSP. fresh lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp. dried basil
- 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/6 tsp. onion powder
- 1/8 tsp. celery salt
- 1 lb. tilapia filets
Buttermilk Fried Chicken

Combine chicken and buttermilk in a large, non-metal bowl; cover and chill 8-12 hours or overnight
- 1 (3/4 lb.) cut-up whole chicken
- 3 c. buttermilk
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil
Southern Corn Sticks

Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- 1/4 c. vegetable shortening, melted, plus additional for greasing molds
- 2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 TBSP. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 3/4 c. well-shaken buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
Prime Rib with Spicy Horseradish Sauce

Rub roast on all sides with garlic, pepper and Worcestershire sauce
- 1 6 lb. boneless beef rib roast
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 TBSP. coarsely ground pepper
- 1 TBSP. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 (4 lb.) packages rock salt
- 1/2 cup water
- -Spicy Horseradish Sauce (found in Delicious Appetizers)
Neiman Marcus Cookies

Measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder
- 24 oz. chocolate chips
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. sugar
- 5 c. blended oatmeal
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 3 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (8 oz.) Hershey bar (grated)
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Sausage Breakfast Casserole

Remove crust from bread. Spread bread slices with butter
- 6 slices white bread
- butter or margarine
- 1 lb. bulk sausage
- 1 1/2 c. (6 oz). shredded longhorn cheese
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. half-and-half
- 1 tsp. salt
Spinach/Strawberry/Salad

Mix all salad ingredients together
- For Poppy Seed Dressing:
- 1 bunch spinach, torn
- 1 quart strawberries, capped and sliced
- 2 c. whole pecans, sauteed' in butter
- 1 medium vidalia onion, layered in rings
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt, (can omit)
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 TBSP. onion juice
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- 1 TBSP. poppy seed
