Method: Preheat oven to 350* degrees and grease a 13X9-inch baking pan

Outback Steakhouse Alice Springs Chicken

First, Sprinkle and rub the chicken breasts with seasoning salt
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/2 inch thickness
- Lowry's Seasoning Salt
- 6 bacon slices
- 1/4 cup regular mustard
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushroom (I omitted because my family does not like mushrooms)
- 2 cup shredded Colby/Jack cheese
Rise dough in microwave

Put dough in microwave and set at 10 per cent power for four minutes
- Put dough in microwave and set at 10 per cent power for four minutes. Remove and let stand 15 minutes. Repeat the process until the dough doubles in bulk.
Apple Dumplings

Butter 7 X 11 pan Peel apples and cut into slices
- Sauce:
- 5 or 6 apples
- Pastry for 9” crust
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 T. butter
- 2 1/2 c. hot water
- 1 t. lemon juice
- Butter 7 X 11 pan
- Peel apples and cut into slices.
- Make pastry and roll out. Place apples on squares. Dot each heap with 1 T. sugar and dot with butter and 1/2 t. cinnamon.
- Bring pastry corners up and pinch to seal.
- Combine sugar and rest of sauce ingredients. Pour over dumplings and bake one hour 350.
Homemade Goo Remover

Combine all ingredients in a mason jar
- 1/2 cup olive or vegetable oil (either works perfectly)
- 1/3-1/2 cup baking soda (add more to make a thicker paste)
- Optional: Lemon juice OR a fragrant essential oil (commercial Goo Gone has an orange scent but you can choose any scent that you would like.)
Hungarian Chick Peas

Combine all of the ingredients and stir very well
- 15 oz. can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed and drained
- 2 tablespoons pitted and quartered kalamata olives (or other Greek olives)
- 2 tablespoons each: raisins, chopped cilantro, and minced yellow or white onion
- 1 tablespoon each: extra-virgin olive oil and raw agave nectar
- 2 teaspoons each: dijon mustard, fresh lime juice, and smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 large cloves garlic, minced or pressed
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef
- 2 pounds fresh ground beef
- 1 quart tomato juice
- 1 (29-ounce) can tomato purée
- 1 (15-ounce) can red kidney beans, drained
- 1 (15-ounce) can pinto beans, drained
- 1 medium-large onion, chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chili powder (use less for milder chili)
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin (use more for real flavor)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Refrigerator Pickles

Place sliced cucumber and onions in a large container or bowl
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1-2 teaspoons celery seed (I use 2)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups sliced cucumber
- 3 small onions, thinly sliced
Easy Lasagna

Brown ground turkey and drain fat
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1 jar Ragu Tomato & Basil Light Pasta Sauce—26 oz.
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 12 oz. mozzarella cheese, part skim milk
- 2 c. cottage cheese, lowfat OR fat free ricotta
- 1/2 c. parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 8 oz. lasagna noodles, UNCOOKED
- dash salt and pepper
Jalapeno Popper Dip 2

In a mixer or by hand, combine cream cheese and sour cream
- 4oz can diced jalapenos, well drained OR 4-6 fresh jalapenos, roasted and diced (include seeds if you like it really spicy)
- 1 8oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup + 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 4 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
