Tri-tip beef chili (I got this reciepe from a Dodge magizine

  • 3 lbs 3 lbs tri-tip beef cubed (You can buy this cubed but I like to cube it myself. I find the pre-cubed beef is too fatty and overpriced)
  • 1 14 oz can 1 14 oz can beef broth
  • 1 14 oz can 1 14 oz can chicken broth
  • 1 8 oz can 1 8 oz can Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Tsp 1 Tsp Tabasco Sauce (Optional)
  • Water or more broth as required
  • 2-3 Tbsp 2-3 Tbsp Chili powder
  • 2-3 Tbsp 2-3 Tbsp Cumin
  • 1/2 Tbsp 1/2 Tbsp Arrowroot (The commissary doesn't carry this. Make your own- mix 1 part flour to 2 part corn starch)
  • Onion chopped
  • Garlic glove
  • Canned Chiles (Take it easy don't use the whole can)
  • Salt
