  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) buttermilk

  • 3 cups (750 mL) pitted fresh or tinned sweet cherries
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) water or brandy
