Spicy Thai Chicken Stir Fry

Quick, easy, and ooooh so good!
- 1 1/4 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cloves garlic , mashed
- 1 onion , sliced julienne
- 1/4 cup chopped basil
- 4 green onions , sliced julienne
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 4 tablespoons fish sauce (nuoc mam)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili-garlic sauce (this can be purchased at any asian grocery store)
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil

1. In a small bowl, whisk the first seven ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed

- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 about 2cm piece fresh root ginger (to give you 2 tbsp finely chopped)

- 1 cinnamon stick
- 600 g boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

- 1 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 tsp ground mace
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 150 ml natural yogurt, not fridge cold
- 100 ml full-fat milk

- 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Root Beer Baked Beans

Cook bacon and onion in skillet until bacon is brown and crisp
- 1/2 lb/225 g bacon, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 tbsp/30 mL Original BBQ Sauce
- 1/4 cup/60 mL ketchup
- 2 (28 oz/798 g) cans baked beans
- 1/4 tsp/1.2 mL Root Beer Extract, 236 mL
- 1/2 tsp/2.5 mL prepared mustard
- 2 tbsp/30 mL brown sugar
- Black Pepper 170 g to taste
Kholrabi & Avacado Salad

Peel the kohlrabi by cutting off the top and bottom, and peeling with a potato peeler
- 3 medium kohlrabi, bulbs
- 2 ripe avocados
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 scallion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt
- fresh ground pepper
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
Asian Vinaigrette

Place all the ingredients in maic bullet container and blend for about 10 seconds until fully combined
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 1/2 Tbsp. fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 clove garlic, crushed
- dash of chili sauce
- freshly ground black pepper to taste

- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup butter or ½ cup margarine
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons watkins root beer extract
- 1 teaspoon watkins original double-strength vanilla
- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt , if desired
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1⁄3; cup butter or 1⁄3; cup margarine
- 1 teaspoon watkins root beer extract
- 1 -2 tablespoon hot water
