In a large mixing bowl, sprinkle yeast over the warm water

- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/2 cups sourdough starter
- 4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup flour
Melt-in-your-Mouth Bhuna Lamb

- 2 cups plain, whole milk yoghurt
- 8 cloves garlic
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh ginger
- 1 tsp. ground red pepper
- 1 tsp. garam masala
- 1 tsp. ground coriander seeds
- 1 tsp. ground cumin seeds
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- salt to taste
- 2 1/2 lbs. boneless lamb shoulder cut into 1 1/2" cubes

Easy Chop Dinner

In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. fresh ginger, minced or 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 3 boneless center cut pork chops, 4 oz each
- 1/2 cup reduced sodium chicken broth
- 2 cups broccoli flowrets
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon style mustard
- 1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp. honey
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. sesame seeds
Tortellini Primavera

1.Put a large pot of water on to boil
- 1 14-ounce can vegetable broth or reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 cup shredded fontina cheese or 3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon, dill or chives or 1 teaspoon dried tarragon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups chopped vegetables, such as broccoli, carrots and snap peas, or 16-ounce bag frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 16-ounce package frozen cheese tortellini
Thai Pork Salad

- 4 4 1/2 boneless pork chops, each 1/2 inch thick, patted dry
- 1 1 1/2 head napa cabbage (about1 1/2 pounds), halved lengthwise
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced lengthwise (2/3 cup)
- 2 2 2 tablespoons fish sauce, such as nam pla
- 2 2 2 teaspoons packed light-brown sugar
- Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
- 2 2 2 tablespoons safflower oil
- 1/4 1/4 2 cup fresh lime juice (from 2 limes)
- 1 1 1 serrano or red finger chile, finely chopped (2 tablespoons)
- 1 1 1 English cucumber, peeled, halved lengthwise, and chopped
- Fresh mint leaves and chopped peanuts, for serving
Black Bean Avocado Salad Recipe

•In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients
- DRESSING:
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (11 ounces) Mexicorn, drained
- 1-1/3 cups chopped California Avocados
- 1 cup chopped seeded cucumber
- 1 cup chopped seeded tomatoes
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
- 1 small jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper

- Dried Green Peas: 250 gm, soaked overnight.
- Onions: 1 medium, sliced.
- Tomatoes: 2, medium, chopped.
- Ginger-Garlic paste: 1 tsp.
- Kashmiri Chilly Powder: 1 1/2 tsp.
- Fresh Coriander Powder: 2 tsp.
- Garam Masala: 1 tsp.
- Turmeric Powder: 1/2 tsp.
- Fresh Pepper Powder: 1/2 tsp.
- Mustard Seeds: 1/4 tsp.
- Whole Spices: Cinnamon, cloves, peppercorns-1/4 tsp each.
- Curry leaves
- Salt to taste.
- Refined Oil: 2 tbsp, can add more if you are not calorie conscious.
Crusted Pepper Prime Rib

Sample formula for cooking an 8 lb
- 1 8-lb. prime rib (rib roast), cut off the bone
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- Sea salt (use a lot)
- 12-15 cloves garlic, pressed
- Coarse-ground black pepper (use a lot)
Pea & tomato curry

Fry the paneer in 2 tbsp of oil until golden brown
- 250 g paneer (indian cheese), cut into chunks
- 4 very ripe tomatoes , roughly chopped
- 1 onion , chopped and whizzed to a purée with a thumb sized piece of ginger and clove of garlic
- 300 g frozen peas , defrosted
- oil
- spice mix made from 2 tsp garam masala , 1/2 tsp turmeric and a pinch cayenne
- 300 ml vegetable stock or water
