Oriental Pork Roast

Mix ingredients together. Place roast in crockpot and pour mixture over it
- 4 pounds pork roast
- 1 tablespoon flour, all-purpose
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup

- To DOUBLE this recipe (use the same cooking directions):
- 1/2 lb dried cavatappi pasta (see note on how to double this recipe)
- 3 cups half & half
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups Cabot New York Sharp Cheddar, shredded (sold as an 8oz. block of cheese)
- 1 cup whole milk mozzarella, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmigiano-reggiano, finely grated
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh thyme
- 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
- 1 1/2 to 2 tbsp green onion, chopped
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced (not the stuff in the jar)
- generous pinch of nutmeg (about 1/8 tsp or less)
- generous pinch of cayenne pepper (about 1/8 tsp or less)
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 6 slices of semi-crisp hardwood smoked bacon, chopped (feel free to use more if you'd like)
- 2 to 3 tablespoons seasoned breadcrumbs (optional)
- Salt to season the pasta water

Grilled Chicken with Spicy Guacamole & Corn Chips

1.Heat a griddle on a medium heat, rub 1 tbsp oil all over the chicken, and season with salt and pepper
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 6 chicken breasts, skin on
- 6 corn tortillas
- 4 large ripe tomatoes, cut into 2cm chunks
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 long red chilli, deseeded and finely diced
- 1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce
- juice 2 limes, plus extra limes cut into wedges, to serve
- 2 large ripe avocados
- 80 g pack coriander, leaves picked and chopped
- 20 g pack basil, leaves picked and chopped

- 1 (3 1/2-ounce) bag boil-in-bag long-grain rice
- 3 tablespoons canola oil, divided
- 1 tablespoon chopped peeled fresh ginger
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 6 ounces pork tenderloin, trimmed and cut into thin strips
- 1/2 cup shelled edamame (green soybeans)
- 1/2 cup preshredded carrot
- 3/4 cup diagonally cut green onions
- 1/2 cup (1/4-inch-thick) slices red bell pepper, each cut in half
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth

Actifry Ginger Beef From Scratch

1. Trim excess fat from the beef and Cross Cut into narrow strips up to 2 ½ inches long
- 1 lb. Beef Steak or Roast. Use inexpensive Cuts. Flank, Sirloin, Inside or Outside Round.
- 3/4 cup cornstarch (Reduced Amount Works)
- 1/2 cup water (Reduced Amount Works)
- 2 eggs (1 Egg Works)
- 1 large carrot, julienned. (Can also add small strips of Green Pepper for colour and flavour)
- 3 green onions, chopped (Small with green stems) OR 1/4 cup diced cooking onions
- 1/4 cup fresh ginger, minced
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 tablespoons rice vinegar OR regular vinegar OR vinegar and wine
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sugar (I mixed white and cane sugar)
- 3 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes, to taste (depends if you like mild, medium or hot!)
