  • Sourdough bread- 1 loaf (I used a French Boule)
  • Cheddar cheese- 250 gms, thinly sliced (if you have a cheese slicer that's best)
  • Butter- 1/2 cup (i used a mix of garlic butter ans salted butter)
  • Green/ spring onions- 1/4 cup, roughly chopped

Saucy, Italian “Drunken” Noodles with Spicy Italian Sausage, Tomatoes and Caramelized Onions and Red and Yellow

  • Olive oil

  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, julienned, divided use
  • 8 ounces Pappardelle noodles, uncooked
