Hot Shrimp Pasta

Boil the pasta until done, drain, sprinkle with olive oil, mix, and keep warm
- 1 pkg. linguine
- 4 Tb. jalapenos, stems removed, seeded, chopped fine
- 1 c. chopped green onion
- 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 tomato, chopped fine
- 2 lbs. cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. sour cream

- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 Tb. dark syrup
- 3 3/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. soda

- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. anise oil
Sauteed Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar Pan Sauce

1. Combine broth, vinegar, and honey
- To assure the chicken gets done, select chicken breasts that are on the small side, about 4-5 oz. each. Instant polenta cooks quickly; stir in grated Romano cheese at the end.
- 1/2 c. fat-free chicken broth
- 1/2 c. balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp. honey
- 1 Tb. butter
- 1 Tb. canola oil
- 4 (5 oz.) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

- Dough:
- 2 c. flour
- 2 Tb. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. (2 sticks) chilled unsalted butter, cut into 1/2" pieces
- 6 oz. chilled cream cheese, cut into 1/2" pieces
- Filling:
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 12 Tb. cherry preserves
- 8 Tb. dried tart cherries
- 8 Tb. miniature semisweet chocolate chips
- 8 Tb. finely chopped walnuts
- 1/3 c. whipping cream
