- Gnocchi
- a scant 2 cups mashed or riced potatoes, fresh or instant
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- Parsley Pesto
- 1 bunch (about 6 ounces) fresh flat-leaf (Italian) parsley, most of the stems removed
- 3/4 cup fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 to 5 large cloves garlic, peeled; to taste
- 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons olive oil or garlic oil

- For the crust and streusel:
- 10-1/2 oz. (1 cup plus 5 Tbs.) unsalted butter, melted and cooled to just warm
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 tsp. table salt
- 2 large egg yolks
- 14-1/4 oz. (3 cups plus 3 Tbs.) unbleached all-purpose flour
- Tip: For the best results, measure your flour by weight instead of volume. (1 cup of all-purpose flour equals 4-1/2 oz.) If you don’t have a scale, be sure to use the proper technique when filling your measuring cups.
- For the cranberry topping:
- 12-oz. bag fresh or frozen cranberries, picked over, rinsed, and drained
