Secret Kiss Cookies

Here's a recipe that's literally sealed with a "kiss
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon Spice Islands® pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 30 milk chocolate kisses
- 1-1/3 cups confectioners' sugar, divided
- 2 tablespoons baking cocoa
Ice-Cream-Cone Cake

- For cake and cones
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 3 sticks (3/4 pound) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs at room temperature 30 minutes
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 7 flat-bottomed wafer cones
- For custard buttercream
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 9 large egg yolks
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 ounces fine-quality bittersweet chocolate (no more than 60% cacao if marked), chopped
- 6 sticks (1 1/2 pound) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups coarsely crushed 2-inch chocolate wafers (28 small cookies)
- Equipment: 2 (8- by 2-inch) round cake pans; a small offset spatula; 2 large pastry bags each fitted with 1/3-inch star tip
Cranberry Orange and Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl beat butter, sugars and orange zest until it resembles wet sand
- Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup butter or stick margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- Grated zest of one orange
- 1 large egg
- 3 tbsp orange juice, 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup fresh or unthawed frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chunks or chips
Best ever Chocolate Fudge Filling

In a small saucepan, add the chocolate squares and butter
- 6 Squares semisweet chocolate
- 3 Tablespoons butter
- 7 Tablespoons milk
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla
- 3 Cups sifted confectioner's sugar
Oreo Truffles

These are so easy to make and so easy to eat! Cookies and Cream in truffle form
- 1 lb Oreo cookies (3 sleeves)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (using different extracts allows for subtle flavour changes...I've used mint extract, upped to 1 tsp) (optional)
- 1 lb milk chocolate
- 1/2 lb white chocolate
No-Fuss Pancakes

Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl
- 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour (or split it and use half whole wheat flour)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup nondairy milk, such as almond, rice, soy, oat, hemp, or hazelnut
- 2 tablespoons canola oil or non-hydrogenated, non-dairy butter, melted (optional)
- 3 tablespoons liquid sweetener, such as maple syrup, apple juice concentrate, orange juice
- Additional oil or butter for cooking (optional)

- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup dutch-process cocoa
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon hazelnut extract
- 1/3 cup Nutella
- 1/3 cup milk

- 1 can (300mL) Regular or Low Fat Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp (15mL) vanilla extract
- 3 1/2 cups (875mL) Robin Hood® All Purpose Flour
- 2 tsp (10mL) baking powder
- 1/4 tsp (1mL) salt
- Filling
- 1 cup (250mL) brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp (5mL) cinnamon
- 1/3 cup (75mL) butter, melted
