Potatoes, KRUMPLI (From Hungary)

Great Hungarian winter dish
- 3 large potatoes
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup butter
- 6 Hard boiled eggs, sliced
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 lbs Polish sausage sliced.
- 1 Tablespoon paprika
- 3 slices uncooked bacon
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs.

- 1/4 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon minced fresh thyme leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary leaves
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated Parmesan
- 6 extra-large eggs
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Peanut Butter Crosscrosses

Thoroughly cream shortening, sugars, eggs, and vanilla
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup peter pan crunchy peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Sauce, Lemon Butter Cream

Reduce all of the ingredients except butter in a heavy sauce pot to half the original volume
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 ounce lemon juice
- 1 ounce white wine
- 1 tablespoon chive, chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
- 1 stick butter
- salt --to taste
- pepper--to taste

Blend all ingredients together in blender until smooth
- 2 cup buttermilk
- 2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 large onion, chopped
- 1-2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

- 2 (8-ounce)packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/4 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 5 large eggs, divided
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 (14-ounce) cans artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
Orange Chipotle Hollandaise Sauce With Panko Fried Shrimp

Hollandaise: In a small saucepan, combine the shallots, white wine, and orange juice
- HOLLANDAISE:
- 2 tablespoons chopped shallots
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup blood orange juice (regular orange juice can be substituted)
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 cup melted unsalted butter (or clarified butter)
- 1 teaspoon pureed chipotle in adobo
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
- SHRIMP:
- 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp peeled, butterflied, and tails left on
- 1 cup flour
- Essence to taste (see Bayou Blast recipe)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 1/2 cups panko crumbs
- 4 cups mesclun greens
Shrimp, Peppered by Carribean Joe

Very hot sicy shrimp with lots of flavor
- 1 lb shrimp
- 4 cloves of garlic chopped very fine
- 3 Habanaro peppers w/ seeds or leaves seeds out
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 Tablespoon paprika smokey flavored
- Bunch of flat leaf parsley added at the end
- 1/4 teas. salt
