Shrimp Dip

Mix all together, serve with crackers
- 5 oz. can shrimp
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 Tbs. lemon juice
- 1 Tbs. ketchup
- 1/4 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp. onion salt
- dash hot pepper
Sweet and Sour Sauce

In a small saucepan over medium heat, mix first five ingredients
- 3 Tbsp apricot preserves
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water
Peppermint Chocolate Candy

Melt chocolate in a double boiler
- 1 1/2 lbs. white chocolate
- 1 cup crushed peppermint
- 2 drops peppermint extract
- red food coloring
Minestrone

If using dried beans, soak overnight in 3 qrt water
- 1 lb dried cannellini beans
- 2 lb vegetables: zucchini, leeks, turnip, carrot and celery
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 sm tomatoes, chopped
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 oz pancetta, chopped
- 2 potatoes, cubed
- 8 oz sm pasta, such as elbow macaroni, cooked, drained
- 1 Tbsp italian parsley, chopped
- 1 Tbsp fresh basil, chopped
- Garnish ----
- 4 Tbsp grated parmesan or 3 Tbsp pesto sauce
Edamame Dip*

Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until mostly smooth
- 6 oz. edamame, thawed
- 2 Tbs. olive oil
- 1 Tbs. rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbs. water
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
Pumpkin, Barely, and Sage Soup

1. In 5 quart Dutch oven cook sausage, onion and sage in hot oil over medium heat 3 minutes, stirring often
- 8 0z. cooked andouille sausage links, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 Tbs. snipped fresh sage
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup quick cooking barley
- 1 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
- 1 15-oz. pumpkin
- 2 Tbs. maple syrup
- 1 Tbs. cider vinegar
Oriental Chicken Bites*

1. Combine the flour, garlic salt, five spice powder, and pepper in a resealable plastic bag
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. five spice powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 1 1/2" pieces
- 1 egg beaten
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 2/3 cup finely crushed toasted sesame crackers
- 1/3 cup finely ground peanuts
- 1/3 cup bottled sweet and sour sauce
- 2 Tbsp. bottled barbecue sauce
Festive Cranberry Cheese Spread*

Blend all except cream cheese
- 1 16-oz. can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 4-oz. can diced green chilies
- 2 Tbsp. sliced green onion
- 1 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 8-oz. pkg. Neufchateau cheese
