- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 c. butter, softened
- 3 eggs
- 2/3 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp almond extract
- Filling
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese softened
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 (21 oz) Blueberry Lucky Leaf Pie Filling
- Crumb Topping
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp butter, melted
- Icing
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1-2 Tbsp milk
Double Bacon Cheese Quiche

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- Crust:
- Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) chilled butter, cut into small pieces
- 2 to 3 tablespoons cold water
- Filling:
- 10 strips bacon
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups light cream
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese (about 2 ounces)
- 1/2 cup shredded white Cheddar cheese (about 2 ounces)
Chilled Asparagus Salad

- 6 quarts water
- Kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 32 stalks small to medium-size green asparagus, washed and ends trimmed
- 2 lemons, juiced
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 tablespoons smooth Dijon mustard
- 4 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 quart chicken broth
- 3/4 cup grapeseed oil, as needed for sauteing
- 1 large red onion, diced
- 3 cloves fresh chopped garlic
- 3/4 pound fresh corn kernels, about 3 ears or 12 ounces frozen fresh corn (do not use
- canned corn - it becomes gummy)
- 1 1/2 pounds peeled diced potatoes, about 6 medium potatoes (set on a paper towel to
- absorb moisture)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper
- 3 pounds salmon fillet
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh chives, for garnish
