Oven “Fried” Potatotes

1. Grease a large rimmed baking sheet, about 18″x13″ or thereabouts, and set it aside
- Potatoes (6 medium size red-skins, or 3 Idaho (russet) potatotes), skin on
- 4 to 6 tablespoons canola oil
- Kosher salt, to taste

- 1/4 cupall-purpose flour
- 1/2 tspeach salt and pepper
- 2 lbsbeef stew meat, cut into 1-inch pieces

- 3 celery stalks, coarsely chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced

- 1 cupdry red wine
- 1 cuplow-sodium beef broth
- 1/4 cupsteak sauce (such as A1)
- 1-1/2 tspdried Italian seasoning
- 2-1/4 cupspackaged biscuit mix
- 2/3 cupmilk
Brown Sugar Pound Cake

Preheat oven to 325. Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan
- Brown Sugar Frosting:
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 tsp maple extract
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 3 cups flour - Better Batter
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp extract
Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

Crumble the cake into a 9x13 inch dish
- 1 (10 inch) angel food cake
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 quart fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 (18 ounce) jar strawberry glaze

- One -quarter cup brown sugar
- One -quarter cup canola oil
- Three -quarters cup Orange Puree (see Make-Ahead Recipe #2)
- Three -quarters cup smooth peanut butter
- 8 heaping teaspoons favorite jam*
- Note: Jelly doesn't work as well as the thicker variety of jam; jelly just disappears into the muffins.
Mediterranean Alfredo Pizza

1. Spread an unbaked pizza crust or bread shell with Alfredo sauce
- 1 unbaked 12-inch homemade pizza crust, frozen bread dough crust, or Italian bread shell crust
- 1/3 cup refrigerated Alfredo sauce
- 8 to 10 fresh spinach leaves
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced (about 3 ounces)
- 1 small tomato, thinly sliced
- 4 canned marinated artichoke hearts, quartered or sliced
- 1-1/2 teaspoons snipped fresh oregano or 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
- 1-1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
