- 2 pounds stew meat, cut in 1" pieces
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 (4-oz) can mushrooms
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. red wine
Bacon Wrapped Potato Bites with Spicy Sour Cream Dipping Sauce

- 1 pound small or medium red potatoes
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped, fresh rosemary
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 12 ounces-to-1 pound thick-cut bacon
- 1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- salt and pepper
Mom's Potato Salad

- 6 potatoes, diced
- 1/2 large onion
- celery, 3 stalks, diced
- green pepper, diced
- 6 eggs, hard boiled (some diced, some sliced)
- 3/4 c. Miracle Whip
- 2 T. sweet pickle juice
- Tony Chachere's creole seasoning

Curried Vegetable Soup

Found this in a Better Homes & Garden magazine recently, and made it yesterday
- MY ADDITIONS:
- Ingredients
- 3 cups cauliflower florets (break into small pieces)
- 1 14-oz. can unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 14-oz. can vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. curry powder
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 cups frozen baby peas-vegetable blend
- 2 pita bread rounds, cut into wedges (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil (optional)
- Fresh cilantro sprigs and crushed red pepper (optional)
- 1/2 t. crushed red pepper (added to stock)
- 1 jalapeno, sliced thin (if you like heat)
- 1 t. salt (to taste)
- 1 carrot, shredded PLUS sliced red pepper (if you can't find the peas-vegetable blend and only use frozen peas)

- 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets (ask for skin to be removed)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes with lime juice/cilantro (well drained)
- 1/2 cup light mayonnaise

This recipe puts a Greek and Mexican spin on an old classic
- 2 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 small onion, finely diced
- 4 scallions, sliced (white and green parts)
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- freshly ground pepper
- pinch each of thyme, oregano, and cayenne
- 2 cup fresh spinach
- 2 small wraps
- 2 egg whites
- 2 tablespoons strained yogurt
- 2-3 tablespoons feta cheese

- 2 loaves frozen bread dough
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- TOPPING:
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 lg. pkg instant vanilla (or butterscotch) pudding mix
- 2 t. cinnamon
- 2 T. milk

I've been using this recipe for years
- 1-3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 t. baking powder
- 1/2 t. baking soda
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 c. sour cream or nonfat plain yogurt
- 1/3 c. skim milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. fresh or frozen blueberries (patted dry and tossed with 2 T. flour)
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
