Sweet-And-Sour chicken wings

1. In a small saucepan, combine the first five ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 TB reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon granules
- 16 chicken wings
- 6 TB cornstarch
- 1/2 cup cold water
Mums Broccoli Casserole

1. Put broccoli in casserole dish
- 2 pkg (10oz) frozen chopped broccoli
- 1/2 lb. velvetta cheese
- 1/4 lb margarine
- 10 ritz crackers, crushed

Creamy Garlic Pasta

Creamy Garlic Pasta
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced (or 4 heaping tsp)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 lb spaghetti or angel hair pasta
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Easy Lemon Chicken Soup

1. In a large stockpot bring chicken broth, lemon juice, bay leaves to a boil
- 12 cups low sodium chicken broth
- lemon juice of 2 lemons
- 2 dried bay leaf
- 4-6 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 handfuls spaghetti, broken in half
- 2 cups grated romano cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 4 cups diced cooked rotisserie chicken

- 1 box pasta
- black olives
- 1/2 cup Italian dressing
- celery salt
- garlic powder

- 1 head of lettuce
- 3 tomatoes

Midwestern Saucepan Chicken and Noodles

1. In a 4.5 QT dutch oven, combine chicken, water, celery leaves, parsley, bay leaf, salt, thyme, and pepper
- 3 whole chicken legs (drumsticks and thigh), skin removed
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cups chopped celery leaves
- 2 TB snipped fresh parsley
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried thyme, crushed
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 4 medium carrots, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, sliced
- 3 cups dried wide egg noodles
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup frozen corn
- 2 TB all-purpose flour
Thai Curry Stir Fry

1. Stir broth,cornstarch, soy, curry and red pepper- set aside
- 1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp curry
- 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups broccoli
- 2/3 cup sliced carrots
- 1 1/2 tsp olive oil
- 6 oz. chicken breasts, cut into bite sized pieces
- 2/3 cup hot cooked rice
Dilled Chicken Orzo Casserole

1. Preheat oven to 350. Cook pasta according to pkg directions; drain
- 8 oz dried orzo pasta
- 1 (2lb) purchased roasted chicken
- 2 TB butter
- 2 TB all-purpose flour
- 1 (14oz) can chicken broth
- 2 TB capers, drained
- 2 TB snipped fresh dill
- 1 TB dijon-style mustard
- 1 tsp finely shredded lemon peel
- 1 TB lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 or 2 large red sweet pepper, cut into bite-size strips
- 1/2 of a small red onion, thiny sliced
- fresh dill
